As a budding UI/UX designer fresh out of an intensive course on Figma and design principles, I embarked on the journey of the 100 Days Daily UI Challenge. The first task: creating a sign-up form (001/100). Excited and fueled by caffeine, I dove headfirst into the challenge.
Before diving into the design process, I scoured social media for inspiration. The #DailyUI challenge on Twitter was a goldmine of creativity, serving as both motivation and a benchmark for my own work.
With a plan forming in my mind, I began sketching out rough ideas on paper. Though my sketches weren't masterpieces, annotating them brought clarity to my vision—a crucial step for beginners like me.
Transitioning to Figma, I embarked on the wireframing phase. This was where the magic truly began, as my sketches transformed into digital representations of my concept. It was akin to the aroma of freshly baked pizza wafting through the air—a sign that something delightful was in the works.
For the high-fidelity design, I drew inspiration from Banat Modesty, my wife's women's Muslim modesty brand. With a clear color palette in mind, I meticulously added logos, images, fonts, and colors, ensuring every element aligned harmoniously.
Throughout the process, the Daily UI challenge served as a beacon of inspiration, motivating me to push the boundaries of my creativity. With each task tackled, I grew more confident in my skills, eager to take on whatever design challenge came my way. And thus, the journey continued—a testament to the power of perseverance and passion in the world of UI design.
